Q. Please tell me about your league management solution?
A. For league management we recommend our League Centre product. League Centre is a sophisticated league management system that is customized to becomes your league web site. It automates the many processes involved in operating your league such as scheduling and managing discipline. Your league web site will also allow your league office to out source a lot of the administration work to the clubs and teams participating in the league.
Q. Can you give me an example of this outsourcing?
A. A good example is updating the standings. After each game both teams must submit an on line game report with the result and the names of the goal scorers on their team. If both teams agree with the score then the standings and goal scoring pages are automatically updated without any intervention from your league office.
Q. But sometimes the league office will have to over turn a game result due to discipline reasons. How do you handle that?
A. The league office can always over turn a game report and correct the standings with a simple tool, however in 99% of the games what is submitted by the two teams is approved by the league office so this is a huge time and labour saving for your league office.
Q. What happens if one of the teams forgets to submit a game report?
A. At noon each day a system generated reminder email is sent to all teams who have an outstanding report. If that doesn't work then unfortunately you will have to contact them. Many of our customers have a league rule that the game report must be submitted within 24 hours or the team will get fined. We find that this usually does the trick and if you do have to fine a team then we track to the second when they submitted their game report and by whom so its easy for you to issue the fine.
Q. You mentioned scheduling earlier. How does League Centre handle that?
A. Your league web site has a powerful schedule generation engine that can generate your initial schedule in a matter of seconds for a small league or a few minutes for a large league. Once the schedule has been published it can be maintained easily with a series of tools that ensure that the schedule is sound. Your league web site will not allow you to double book a field and this is extended to include other leagues that may share your fields as long as they also use an E2E Soccer solution.
Schedule changes during the season are made quickly and the information of the change is automatically emailed to the two teams concerned.
Q. And what about discipline?
A. Your league web site has a powerful discipline management system that allows you to read red and yellow card reports on line if Ref Centre is used. Once a decision has been made a suspension letter is issued electronically through your league web site to the player, the team coach and the club
